- Glebe's Saturday markets feature New Age Bohemian and recycled items as well as music and books. It also has many new and hand-made items. There is also often live music.



- Paddington markets are held at the Paddington Uniting Church every Saturday. - The Bondi markets are held every Sunday at the Bondi Public School at the north end of the famous Bondi Beach. There are many vintage goods and second-hand fashion and accessories on offer, as well as flowers, books, music, hand-made items, and crafts. Many local young designers showcase their wares here.

If you’re in Sydney on April 10, you’ll get to experience the Garage Sale Trail, which is part of the largest garage sale in Australia. In Surry Hills and Glebe, hundreds of households register to be listed on the garage sale trail, which is issued by the city of Sydney and pinpoints participating ‘garages’ on this one day. Grab a copy of the map, and set out to pick up some bargains from a number of different households in these suburbs. It’s also a great way to see parts of your city!
